The plan, as always, is there is no plan. Once a week we enter a synthesizer filled room and two hours later come out with a finished work, recorded to tape on a Tascam 388.

This time we’ve expanded our instrumental palette. Our trusty Casio CZ101s are present on every track, now joined by Moogs, Oberheims, Farfisa Syntorchestra, mellotron, even a stringed instrument or two (gasp!). Broadening our sound has allowed us to broaden our influences, adding a bit of YMO-inspired melody and John Carpenter-influenced mania to our usual kosmische-indebted atmosphere.

Over the course of the last year the name Personal Bandana has become all too prescient. It is our sincere hope that while listening to the music on this tape you can be transported, if only for 41 minutes, to another realm where the troubles of the modern world melt away.
